The Tamanaha family was a Shuri warrior clan whose surname was based on the name of the place of worship, and is said to have moved to Onna Village in the early 18th century. The house is about 126 years old. The building is about 126 years old and is built in the traditional style with the rain ends turned around. Goats are kept in the premises of the Tamanaha family, and you can get a glimpse of the traditional Okinawan house.
