The Nishi-Ishigaki family bought the house in 1955 and made it their home. It is a one-story wooden structure with a beam of 6.35 meters and a girder of 8.18 meters. It was built about 115 years ago. It is estimated to have originally consisted of four rooms. Although it has been remodeled to be open on all sides by removing partitions, it is a building that retains the traditional style of Okinawan minka, with rain ends on the east, south, and north sides.

Description
The Nishi-Ishigaki family bought the house in 1955 and used it as their home. It is a one-story wooden structure 8.18 meters in length and 6.36 meters in width, with a hipped red-tile roof. It was built in 1902. It is thought to have originally been a four-room structure. The partitions have been removed and the house has been converted to a four-way open design, but it still retains the elements of traditional Okinawan housing with ”amahaji”(extending eaves) on the east, south, and north sides.
